PLEASE VAL

I DO NOT KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS IT YET

And it is so adorable and awesome

Beating a game the day after release may not be a great idea after all

--

it's taken on a much smaller scale than Unwound Future so it can build up for another trilogy, but that doesn't mean it isn't still totally awesome at some parts.

38 tax included

It's ok, I can be patient

I'm doing a perfect runthrough of all of the others to tide me over and that should take awhile

Sorry, CL, Skyrim comes first.

And then possibly WoW in case I decide to get back into that WITH that Diablo offer.

Yeah, well, Australia. Go ahead and rub it in. You only got it a month and a half before we even CAN.

I've never understood why that has to be the case. Like, what are they changing? It doesn't matter WHAT English-speaking country you're in, the characters are still going to be British with British accents speaking Britishly. I really don't understand why there always has to be a ridiculous gap.

Clearly it is a sign that you should come to America, land of the Awesome

pfffffffahahaha yeah ok nvm

but still

Well for one thing they have to flip the entire game upside down before porting to Australia.

They also have to submit it to Australia's Dread Satanic Overlord of Gaming to make sure it isn't as blatantly gory and pornographic as most DS titles are.

Oh, and I'd be playing the new Layton, if not for 'Rage', 'Arkham City', 'Skylanders' (shut up), 'All 4 One', and the whole gamut of impending releases, Also not being up to date in the series. I'm working on it.

^ I'd never endorse you playing this before Unwound Future, anyway. No worries.

Yeah, RAGE is definitely taking up all the free gaming time. I wouldn't get anything at all done if I tried to squeeze in some DS playing, too.

But I probably should anyway.

For great justice and puzzles.

To be a True Gentleman!

But mostly just for the swordfights and giant robots, tbh

[Or, in the movie's case, SWORDFIGHTS ON GIANT ROBOTS. Yes]

^What, the Layton movie? Has swordfights on giant robots?

Because holy cow. Deal-maker, son. (As if I wasn't planning to get it anyway.)

That sounds outstanding. Like, I wasn't sure anything would ever top Lupin's climactic battle with the bad guy in 'Castle of Cagliostro' (setpiece---the moving works of a huge clocktower), but this might just could edge it out.

Only one way to find out

Not that my ultimate goal is to get everyone under the sun to experience absolutely everything Layton in the universe, no siree

My ultimate goals aside though it really is unbelievably awesome. I just watched it because it was Layton, but I honestly didn't expect it to be good.

IT WAS.
