I find that disappointing especially in light of certain Demos at the last E3. The Wii's strength was it's Family appeal. But also wouldn't this be a problem with it's Wii backwards compatibility? At the Virtual Console? Then I again I suppose like the Wii and GameCube there will be a way to simply attach the WiiMote censor separately. I suppose it's a downside from their Jumping ahead so quickly graphically, but I hope it'll at least be possible for a add on to allow more Players. I really was hoping for a follow up to NSMBWii someday, and perhaps similar experiments drawing on Kirby Superstar style multilayer action. Or a new Four Swords time adventure for Zelda. I personally have never needed more then 2 players yet (and 2 very rarely), I live a pretty lonely life, but I'm thinking of others. P.S. Because my Wii is usually in my Bedroom, I usually play VC games laying in Bed. And that goes 100% of the time so far for using the Classic Controller (Which I only use for SNES games). It occurred to me recently that I'm unsure I could position the WiiMote while using the Classic Controller properly if I did try using Downstairs, especially if I ever had a couple active at once. I wish they'd designed an alternate version that could attack the same way as the Wireless GamCube controller does. P.P.S. Is it possible to use the Wireless GameCube remote on an actual GameCube? It seems the difference in positioning of where the Remotes plug in might effect communication. |
