Only including series I have played extensively or in which I actually have an all-time favorite:

Mario Bros? - Super Mario Sunshine, probably
Legend of Zelda? - MM, but I am really thinking SS may replace it. I am ADORING that game.
Pokemon? - Silver, due to nostalgic value.. my first Pokemon game <3
Lego? - not a huge fan. I like the Star Wars but I wouldn't label them an all-time favorite
Donkey Kong? -DKC2
Professor Layton? - UNWOUND FUTURE <333333333
Yoshi? - Even though it's really not a great game, I love Yoshi's Story.
Party and sports games? - Mario Party 2. COSTUMES.

Mario Bros. - Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess, though I haven't finished Skyward Sword yet, so it may change.
Pokemon - Black Version
Lego - LEGO Star Wars II was pretty fun. Didn't really find an interest in the other games, though.
Starfox - Star Fox: Assault
Yoshi - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Final Fantasy - Final Fantasy IV

Mario Bros.: Super Mario Bros. 3. That game never gets old, and even after playing it over and over again all these years I'm still discovering new things.

Kirby: Kirby 64 is probably the one I've had the most fun with.

The Legend of Zelda: Hmmmm. A Link to the Past or Wind Waker, probably.

Pokemon: Pokemon Pearl I suppose. I haven't played as many as I'd like.

Lego: Never played any of them.

Animal Crossing: Never played any of these, either.

Metroid: Super Metroid is one of the best games of all time.

Wario: Another series I haven't played as much of as I should. I think WarioWare: Smooth Moves has been my favorite so far. If you're talking platformers, then Wario Land: Shake It!! would be my fav.

Donkey Kong: Donkey Kong Country 2. One of my favorite games ever, along with my Mario and Metroid entries.

Professor Layton: Unwound Future. It was spectacular.

F-Zero: F-Zero X. And I want a new game in the series, damn it.

Star Fox: Star Fox and Star Fox 64 were great, but out of the three SF games I've actually played I liked Star Fox Adventures the best. Yeah, I know, it's barely even a SF game.

Yoshi: Yoshi's Island. I haven't played this game in ages.

Mega Man: I don't think I've ever played any of these games, either.

Banjo-Kazooie: Can't beat the original. I still need to play N&B.

Bomberman: Yet another series I haven't tried out yet.

Fire Emblem: See above.

Final Fantasy: Final Fantasy VI. The best game ever.

Sports/party: I'd probably like certain games better if I had friends to play with. But off the top of my head, Mario Kart 64. Unless Punch-Out!! counts as a sports game.

Couldn't really finish the first game, haven't considered revisiting since. Such a formulaic series, not sure why I would.

Quote:
Lego - from any of the titles published?
Haven't played any of them, they seem a bit cheap and I'm not a huge fan of the studio that does them.

Quote:
Animal Crossing?
Played the first one, it was good entertainment for a while but there's no resolution so you inevitably just run out of things to do. Can't imagine why I'd pick up another one.

Metroid?
Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid: Zero Mission, Metroid: Prime, Metroid Prime 3

Quote:
Wario?
Warioland VB, Shake Dimension

Donkey Kong?
Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2

Professor Layton?
Haven't played it, not a fan of trick questions.

SMW2 Yoshi's Island - great game, awkward as a sequel. Shame Nintendo used the lack of interest in the series to justify its abandonment of 2D platformers.

Party and sports games?
If this is a reference to Mario games, the only series I like amongst them is Mario Kart. If it's in general, I do not like party games and sport series are usually just shovelware.

My favorite motorsport series are F-Zero and Extreme G, and I like the occasional SSX game. Used to like the Tony Hawk Games 2-3 but Activision bankrupted my interest in that.

I also really enjoyed Cruis'n USA, but the series went south.
