The Deed Brothers

This is a parody of the movie "Mr. Deeds" where a bum inherits 40 billion (yes, billion) dollars and has a blast with it. This story is called the Deed Brother, because Mario and Luigi inherit the money.

At Mario's house...

Mario: Man, it's so boring here.

Luigi: Yes, it's the same everyday. Work, eat, save the Princess from Bowser, and sleep.

Mario: If only we had a rich ancestor who left us his money in his will. That'd be the day.

Parakarry's Voice: MAIL CALL!

Mario: Go get that.

Luigi: *sigh* Sure. *yawn*

Luigi gets the mail and runs back in.

Mario: It's a letter from Lawyer Guy. Let me read it. It says: "Your grandfather, the late Maurice Mario, has written in his will that you both inherit 70 billion dollars. Go to 7777 Shroomy Drive to pick it up."

Mario/Luigi: 70 billion dollars!?!?!? We gotta get over there!

So, they rush off to 7777 Shroomy Drive to pick it up. They see that 7777 Shroomy Drive is a huge mansion. They go in an see Lawyer Guy in the foyer.

Lawyer Guy: I suppose you want the 70 billion dollars now, right?

Mario/Luigi: Right!

Lawyer Guy: Here you go.

A truck appears and dumps out 70 billion dollars on the Mario Bros.

Lawyer Guy: Now, I will leave.

Mario: It's a dream come true.

Luigi: Yes, what shall we do with the money first? I know, we can move in here!

Mario: Yeah!

So, with a fortune, what will the Bros. do with it all? TO BE CONTINUED...

The Mario Bros. enter their new mansion.

Mario: Wow! This place is nice!

???: May I help you?

Mario: Whao! Man, you scared me.

???: I am veeeerrrry sneaky, sir.

Luigi: Who are you?

SM: You may call me SwordMaster. I hail from Spain. I will be your butler. I served your grandfather for 25 years. Alas, he never let me touch his feet.

Mario: Butler! Sweeeet.

SM: If you will not be needing me, sir, I will take my leave.

Luigi: Alrighty. Bye.

*SM leaves sneakily as Spanish fanfare plays*

Luigi: Anyway, let's go shopping, bro!

Mario: Yeah, besides, we don't look like rich people. We need to dress like them.

Luigi: Off to Fungi-Mart!

So, they get in their limo.

Driver: I am Lupus, and I'll be your driver.

Mario: Off to Fungi-Mart!

So, they go to Fungi-Mart. When they get there...

Girl: Hey look! Tycoons!

Guy: Let's suck up to them and con them for some loot!

They run up to the Bros.

Mario/Luigi: Run!

They run inside. They quickly purchase two trenchcoats and two hats and put them on.

Another Girl: Have you seen two rich guys?

Mario: Nope, I haven't.

Another Guy: Well, tell us if you do.

Luigi: Let's go shopping.

So, what will they buy? TO BE CONTINUED...

[DVGBC]

*while they were in the store, they accidently bumped into someone*

???: Wha? Who are you two?

*the being turns around and turns out to be...*

DVGBA: Oh, it's you guys. I've heard of your recent inheritance of $70 billion dollars.

Mario: Yes. What brings you here?

DVGBA: Well, I came to inform you of two things. There are two potental robbers nearby, but that's not important right now. The point is that you guys also inherited a IndyCar Series team that your grandfather owned.

Luigi: Wow-a, that's-a awesome.

DVGBA: Yes, and I... *checks his watch* whoops, I'm going to be late. I'll meet you guys later.

Mario Bros.: See ya.

Luigi: Hey Mario, who are those "potental robbers?"

Mario: Ah, who-a cares? The gaming system said that it's not important.

*just outside the store*

Guy: I knew those rich guys are fooling us.

Girl: No one messes with Team Rivalry!

Meanwhile, in the Musical Instrument Department...

Luigi: I got a new drumset!

Mario: And I got a rock 'n roll guitar!

They walk to the register with their new instruments in a WIDE shopping cart. Suddenly, they bump into a mysterious figure in a trenchcoat and hat like their own.

Mario: Sorry, who are you?

Figure: I am Fusion, and I just heard of your inheritance of 70 billion dollars. I am a billionare, too.

Luigi: Say, have you heard of some "potential robbers"?

Fusion: Nope, haven't heard of them.

Mario: Well, see ya.

Fusion: Ditto.

Meanwhile, at the register, the guy and girl are holding a gun to the cashier while wearing masks.

Guy: Put the money in this bag!

Girl: And don't slow down!

Cashier: Ok! *gulp*

Guy: And as for the rest of you, face the floor, and do not move!

Mario: We gotta stop them, Luigi!

Luigi: Yeah!

Mario runs and punches the girl, but she gets up unharmed.

Girl: I'm an android! I feel no pain!

Mario: Fire Kamehameha!

He sends a fiery blast at her. She looks burnt, but still unharmed.

Girl: My hair! Grrr...Butch! We're leaving!

Butch: But Cassidy, we haven't even gotten a cent!

Cassidy: WE'RE LEAVING!

Butch: Ok, ok! Sheesh! We'll get you next time!

Everyone: THEY SAVED US!

Luigi: Yes, I'm not in Mario's shadow this time!

Cashier: How can we repay you?

Mario: By checking these instruments.

Luigi: Yeah! The only thing we lack now is talent!

Mario: I wonder why we weren't treated royally before this... I mean, I did save-

Luig: WE saved.

Mario: Right, I saved the mushroom kingdom before and we got nothing.

Luigi: I don't think we asked for any-

Mario: That's not the point. Anyways, Let's go tell the princess.

(Mario and Luigi walk up to the castle)

Toad Guard: Ah, the new billionaires. Mr. Mario and Mr. Mario.

Luigi: Grr... Lousy last name...

Toad Guard: Well I've been expecting you... FOR YOUR DESTRUCTION!

Mario: Wha?

Luigi: Mamma Mia!

Toad Guard: Nah, I'm just joking. You shoulda seen your faces.

(Mario bros. enter the castle)

Bowser: Ahahah! I have the super mega-star-rod and 2000 stars have been scattered arounf in 50 worlds and...

Mario: Oh, give it a rest.

Bowser: Yes, sir... (walks away)

Luigi: Well, it's time to go in.
