MCSI: Mario Crime Scene Investigation

This is an OG about the Mario Bros. They go undercover and join two gangs. Only thing is, these two gangs hate each other, because one gang has stolen the other gang's leader's main money man and paid him to work for them. Mario and Luigi must stop these gangs from waging an all-out war in the Mushroom Kingdom.

At the Drunk Driver's Bar, a fat Toad in a white shirt, red tie, and black pants is talking to a black Toad.

Fat Toad: You should've seen the look on this guy's face! I let him chew on a piece of my boot. I wish I brought my video camera that day. You should've seen the look on this guy's face!

Meanwhile, outside the bar, a fancy car parks. A Toad in a black overcoat and a blue-shelled Koopa get out and walk towards the entrance. They each pull out a pistol and punch open the door.

Fat Toad: AHHHHHHHHH! *runs and hides under a pool table*

The black Toad gets shot. The overcoated Toad and blue-shelled Koopa go and look for the Fat Toad.

Fat Toad: (I'm dead now! I should've never joined Cortez!)

The Fat Toad then decides to make a run for it. He avoids lots of bullets. Right before he runs out the back, a bullet barely misses him. He runs away into the blackness. The overcoated Toad and blue-shelled koopa hear police sirens, so they get back in their car and split.

The next day, in an autopsy room, a green Duplighost and the Mario Bros. are looking at the dead black Toad.

Green Duplighost: His tattoos! This guy works for Orlando Cortez, the nutorious cocaine seller. Of course, no one has ever seen Cortez. Not even his driver's license. Unfortunately, the only one to have seen him was murdered. But we do know this: he makes 200 million a year.

Mario: How much, Officer Morpheous?

Officer Morpheous: 200 million. He is very rich. And this guy's death the second sign that there is going to be an illegal gun war between Payne and Cortez's gangs.

Luigi: And what was the first sign?

Officer Morpheous: Cortez has taken his business to the Mushroom Kingdom and hired Payne's top money man, Fink Larry, to work for him. Fink Larry was with this guy last night, along with a witness who escaped unharmed.

Mario: And who was the witness?

Officer Morpheous: That's what I want you to find out! Go undercover, join both Payne and Cortez's gangs, find the witness, and make sure that this illegal war never starts.

Mario/Luigi: Right!

OOC:It helps if you stop making posts. Eventually, the topic deletes itself (I think, though that may be proboard)

OOC: Anyway, I'll just write something down, for kicks. Next time, though, make a story that is more closely related to video games. (Simply having Mario in it doesn't count. For all we know, it could be a generic Mario.) If you do make an OG that isn't about VG's, then state it in the title.

Mario walks into Payne's hideout. The bro.'s had decided to join seperate gangs, in order to decrease the likelihood of them getting caught. Mario got Payne, Luigi got Cortez. The hideout wasn't hard to find, since everyone knew where it was. However, any cops that went within fifty feet of the building were shot down. Payne liked to administer his namesake from a safe distance.

Suddenly, two Boom-Booms charged Mario and grabbed him by the arms. They quickly took him in to see Payne.

Payne: So, Mario. You've come to spy on me for the coppers, eh?

Mario: As far as they know.

Payne: Hmm? What's that supposed to mean.

Mario: (lying) I mean, I could act as a double agent for you, letting you in on all the secrets inside the police.(/lying)

Payne: Oh really? And I suppose you're hoping I would believe you?

Mario: Only a true idiot would pass up an opportunity like this, Payne.

Payne: I see you aren't as stupid as they say, Mario.

Mario: Only stupid for the ones that don't deserve me. You, on the other hand, wouldn't be fooled by that trick, so I won't even try it.

Payne: (smirk) Very well, Mario. You will be our undercover agent into the Coppers. Let us know if they're planning a big drug bust or something. We'll back up our deals with a little "heat".

Mario: (thinking) I wonder how Luigi is doing? (/thinking) What's my pay?

Payne: Whatever you can get, plumber.

OOC: That's enough for me.

Meanwhile, at Cortez's mansion, Luigi is being dragged inside by two dark-looking Toads. Then, a mysterious Toad wearing a blue thug's mask and a blue suit appears.

Mysterious: Boys, let him go.

The Toads let Luigi go.

Luigi: Are you Orlando Cortez?

Mysterious: No, I am the second in command. Cortez does not wish for visitors.

Luigi: I want to join your gang.

Mysterious: Hmm...show me how aggresive you are by beating up these two Toads who brought you in here.

Luigi: Okay.

They fight Kung-Fu style. The three exchange punches and kicks until finally Luigi punches them both in the floor.

Mysterious: Good, good. You are now an official member of Cortez's Killers.

Luigi: (lying) YES! (/lying)

BUMP!

Mysterious: Allow me to introduce myself. The name's Hatch. Richard Hatch. Now you're part of the gang you'll be seeing a lot of me.

Luigi: How so?

Hatch: I give you the jobs.

Luigi: Right...

Hatch: At the moment you are just a lackey at our heels. If you want the bling bling and the high-ups you gotta get to work. Payne's crooks are swapping illegal imported Pokemon cards down at the docks of this town. I want you to get over there and down them all.

Luigi: Can I keep the Pokemon cards?

Hatch: No! Those things are a menace to our society! I've already lost sixteen men to those things. They're like guns to the Payne boys. That's why you gotta be careful on this mission.

Luigi: Do I have to go alone?

Hatch: Yes. The risk of losing any cooler people than you is too high. Frankly we don't care if you survive or perish, we just want you to show us you're really on our side.

Luigi: Right. I'll get to it.

Meanwhile, at Payne's mansion...

Spy: Sir, Cortez has sent someone to destroy our Pokemon card racket at the docks!

Payne: What does he look like?

Spy: The guy he sent wears a green cap, green shirt, and blue overalls.

Mario: (That's Luigi! He's getting himself in danger! I'd better help him!) Say, Payne? You want me to stop this bum?

Payne: Oh, sure.

Mario gets in his car (yes, he and Luigi have cars) and drives down Toad's Turnpike (the highway course from Mario Kart) and dodges a lot of cars and trucks until he gets to the entrance to the docks.

Mario: I'd better stay low.

Mario watches from his car as Luigi arrives. Suddenly, a bunch of Payne's gangster Toads start beating him up.

Mario: I gotta help him! But I'll get caught, and Payne will have my hide! Unless...

Mario pulls out a thug mask and puts it on. He gets out and beats up all the gangster Toads.

Luigi: What're you doing here, Ma...

Mario: *puts hand on Luigi's mouth* I heard Cortez sent you to stop Payne's illegal Pokeman card racket down here. Payne sent me to stop you, but I didn't want you to get killed. You must get out of here!

Luigi: Right. *gets in his car and drives away*

Mario: I'll have to tell Payne. *gets in his car and drives away.
