Also, for not helping us, they're d*cks. |

Of course, if multicelluar life appears, most of the others are much more likely. Especially the eye. How do you figure that vision, of all things is unlikely to evolve? Or is that just because of the unlikelyhood of multicellular organisms in general? |

There could still be vision without actuall eyes. Maybe just an eye spot. if that. They might see in infared or ultraviolet, even in radio waves. If they had eyes, they could be on the appendages or underneath, there could be no color, no iris, etc. Blood- the concept of blood as we know it in different colors is not exactly likely if it is even possible. Since the iron makes it red, and the iron carries the oxygen, then the blood has to be red, unless it uses another element to carry oxygen. Last edited by Jailbreaker; 08-22-2008 at 07:04 PM. |

Edit: Also, I could imagine there being some other chemical in blood (which doesn't have any function in relation to oxygen transfer) that gives it a pigment. | ||

Given how seemingly pre-dispossed with self destruction we humans are they would most likely, 1 Leave us to our own devices hoping we don't desiced to go on a Xenophobic rampage should we ever master innergalactic trave, or 2 destroy us to make sure that said Xenophobic rampage NEVER starts in the first place. - You stupid dog! |
