| In, refitting ships, that part I do truly miss, a hell of a lot. However, custom designing your ships, everytime I do it myself, its ALWAYS better then what the AI does, if depends on your own playing style and how you do it. Except for you I can't recall anyone ever saying that what the AI built was better, not once. I'm sure I've seen it before, but I can't remember it. The problems aren't actually problems, once again, its your playstyle and how complicated a game you want. Sure there are some problems, can't be helped no matter what game it is. I think that its upgrades and new features, little in the way of upgrades, more then make up for the problem. Your looking at the games in the same light like the majority of people. However, you need to look at it from a different angle then other games, its a complicated game, different in many ways. You don't want the type of game MoO3 is, so, fine that's the way it is. You can have your own opinions, its just that, I find its a great, fun and satisfying game. MoO2 is just as good, but its shorter, less complete, I can do so much MORE in MoO3, sure the learning curve was steeper then hell and I damn near gave up through frustration, but then I figured out how everything worked. That's when I realized what the game was about. I think the only reason I was able to was because I loved previous games with those mind numbing details, Superpower for instance, or Victoria. Well, to each his own. Lucky Lurch, I'm to young to have played the original MoO, I can DL it for free now, but its not compatible with XP. Sucks. |
