Guild Wars

Recently, the first expansion pack, Guild Wars: Eye of the North and the sequel, Guild Wars 2 were announced. Hopefully, this MMORPG will stay true to the way that made it popular...with no fees and casual promises.

I'm not an addict to Guild Wars, I tend to get in and out of it. Recently though, I've gotten into all three campaigns with my Assassin/Monk.

Fantastic game. I recommend it to anyone with a solid internet connection. Mine, unfortunately, is shaky (it's fast, but I get lag spikes, which kill online play for me), which is why I stopped playing it. I might consider picking it up again in college, but I'm not sure I want to have to relearn everything. It's great once you've learned it all, but there is a lot to learn.

If you want to relearn everything, you should do it with Nightfall. It doesn't really pit you up against those swarms of 20-30 enemies like in Factions....And I'm sure you'd love to try the Dervish class.

Well, I'm a junior now, and my connection isn't going to get any better here. So like I said, maybe in a year and a half when I'm in college.

Guild wars is great for those who don't have money to pay an monthly fee, personally I didn't like it so much, but eh.
