I was in love with this game when my sister brought it home around '94. When she moved out, she took it, and I found out the my girlfriend has it. ^_^ She let me borrow it, and its a good as ever, except...i'm trying to configure the sound because as of now, there isn't any. I have XP, and i'm trying to play it, but it's not the same without the sarcastic demonic antics of Sam and Max.

Any help?

That should lead you to the SCUMM toolset thing that updates the LucasArts games to play on newer O/S. One of my friends told me that worked, but I haven't tried it.

In a more interesting note, there's a LucasArts pack with a bunch of the older adventure games that are redone for XP. Maybe keep an eye out for them in the bargain bin.

Yeah, ScummVM is the program you'll want to run those old LucasArts adventures on Windows XP. Official site is at www.scummvm.org . It's very easy to use and it contains some filters that may improve the graphics of the game you're trying to play.

I wasn't too impressed with the game. It's short, the puzzles and story are stupid and it's not as funny as Monkey Island. Fortunately ScummVM runs Monkey Island 1, 2 and 3 as well.
