I couldn't figure it out at first either. Apparently, people would visit her "brothel" and pay Simeleans, the Sim money, to have cyber sex with her (like phone sex, but typed). She also had other people working at the brothel and would take a cut of their pay and tips from customers. The Sim money can be sold on eBay for cash. So she was making a few bucks for each...deed.
