For starters, try getting RPG Maker 2003. It has a battle system just like that one built-in.

^Okay, do you have a link of where to download RPG Maker 2003?

EDIT: I just found it and it is 29 MB and that would take my computer about 5 or 6 hours. Is it possible to make a battle system like that on RPG Maker 2000? If it is someone help me.

lol, yeah.

It requires a TON of coding... I did it once... took long long long long long hours... and experience. RPG2k3 is better anyway.

Have you tried Rpg2kNet? They have tutorial(s) on coding new battle systems.

That's the first time I've heard of or seen RPGMaker2003. Man, that looks NEAT.

When you said a lot of coding is involved, did you mean with this version, or did you mean 2000 had a lot of coding, but this is more efficient?

Either way... lots of coding, eh...?

Well, that stopped me years ago, but now that I like computer programming... that could be fun... *gearturn*

2000 requires a ton of coding. 2k3 has a system like that built in.

Yes, a custom battle system for RPG Maker 2000 requires a lot of coding. I remember how long it took me... I had entered so much coding in for a custom battle system that the program froze up when trying to load it. It's much better with RPG Maker 2003.

The Games Factory and Multimedia Fusion are better if you want some variety.
