| Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: I rub my tilde all over your asterisk Gender: Posts: 16,306 Thanks: 525 Thanked 1,436 Times in 721 Posts | I'm trying to use Hamachi to setup a VPN with my brother, so we can play SC without connecting to the battle.net servers. It's going pretty well, but I have just found out that the newest versions (1.0.2.x) have issues with many games, and I've got to downgrade to 1.0.1.5 Anyone else try to setup a VPN? They're a pain if you're inexperienced with networking like I am, but very cool. |

| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | My friends set one up so we could play a few games of Warcraft III. It was OpenVPN, and my friend's a IT guru, so it wasn't too bad. I think my ISP (Rogers, boo) is throttling VPN speeds though, because people have been using it for completely legitimate bittorrents. |
