| Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: I rub my tilde all over your asterisk Gender: Posts: 15,100 | Irony So, my Windows Media Player is inexplicably without the ability to rip to MP3 format. To resolve this issue, I want to download the update to media player 10. I load up IE7 and go to Microsoft.com. Explorer freezes up. I am forced to use Firefox, which is my backup browser, to visit Microsoft's own website. |

| Senior Member Join Date: May 2000 Location: Katrinaland, USA Gender: Posts: 9,017 | Don't feel bad, someone messing around on my desktop dumped out every codec installed to WMP10. I'm still trying to figure out wth I'm missing. The only PCs I've been using Firefox on are the ones that I skimped on the RAM. Haven't had a problem with IE7 once I upgraded to 2GB in that department (or in the case of the desktop, started with 4GB). |
