I thought most of them gave you a free trial then made you subscribe. Or made you pay to download them. I guess I wouldn't really know, my friend's the one who constantly searches for them.

^A lot do. A lot of others have free versions and better paid versions, or one version in which you can pay real money to improve your character, get gold or items, or whatever. But there's plenty that are purely free too, MMORPGs among them.

I wish the Castle Wars items were less expensive. Like, to get the "Gold and Blue" decerative sword is like 500 tickets! Maybe Jagex should make people who kill more opponents get more tickets, huh? And maybe make some matchs in diferent level groups?

I used to play runescape. That is, until I did everything the game had to offer for free players. The only thing that would bring me back is an all-accsessible RS classic server (meaning free players could get what was in the old RS before the new one came out.
