Err, using that kind of software doesn't gaurantee that's you're stealing software. In fact, I would guess the vast majority of users of such programs don't use it for software. Furthermore, use of such a program doesn't gaurantee you're using it for illegal purposes, otherwise the programs themselves would be illegal as well. They aren't, however, and this is a free country.

I use WinMX, and I use it very sparingly, maybe once a week or two.

The programs aren't illegal. The sharing of music is illegal only in the US. So us Canadians can share freely without being afraid of lawsuits.

Do a whois lookup on nintmania.com to find out his name etc. That is, of course, assuming that he registered the domain.

Its funny seeing the regurgitated warnings of parents coming through their children in VGF posts.

Imesh, WinMX, Morpheus, Kazaa are all basically the same, mix and match to get your own personel preference. (I usually find the same crap no matter which search engine is used...despite a few variances.)

It is perfectly legal to search for older songs whose copyright laws are no longer in check, as well as videos (for you porn people out there

However, the worse thing about these programs is they are what eventually messes up your PC, makes it run slower to the point where you can't even surf the net regaurdless of clock speed and internet connection. These programs are hells gate for spyware, add ware, and viruses. So you'll get free enterainment at the reduced quality of your gaming computer.

Also emule is a web browser download site, unlike kazaa, imesh, or winmx which is a program. Which is a great way to get illegal songs undetected.
