I mean, you'd just be hiking along, blowing bad guys away with various and sundry assault weapons, and then everything would inexplicably turn black-and-white, and that damned laser death-beam triangle would appear on the screen, and, if it touched you, you would friggin' explode or get cut in half or something--I don't remember what exactly, only that it was tremendously bloody. Granted, I was only six at the time, but it still scared me silly. |

Oooooh no no no no no no, unless you're talking about surprises, such as something jumps at you out of nowhere and you weren't expecting it. The scariest game i've ever played was Where's Waldo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Reason: Ecstasy supplement. |

RE on the GC was pretty tame, all the RE games have been. So, why is Doom 3 for the Xbox 6 places scarier than the PC version? |

| Member Join Date: Jul 2001 Location: Terra Haute,Indiana Posts: 687 Thanks: 0 Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post | Aliens vs Predator is kind of scary when you first play it, atleast in the marine missions.Than again, when I first played the first marine mission (dled the demo) it was night.Although I'm kind of surprised that I was scared sense I had also been up for a few days.It must have been seeing the waves of aliens coming at me and the door not opening for some reason even after I pushed the open button..... yeah, wasn't pretty. |

I played that on Windows 3.1 and it was scary even then. Two more that creeped me out were Diablo and Wolfenstein...Ugh! I haven't played any shooting games for years...LOL |
