Every time I right click-Save As an image, my computer wants to save it as "untitled.bmp". It wants to save EVERYTHING as this. Gifs, pngs, jpgs, everything. This is especially frustrating for gifs I want to save. I have to go File-Save As, and save the entire page to get a .gif I want. Yet on my mother's computer, images that my computer wants to save as "untitled.bmp" save as the properly named .gif. Anyone know how to fix this? ![]() Where are these lemmings going? Once I installed Photoshop and made that the primary picture viewer for .gif, .jpg etc files the problem cleared up. I"m guessing it has soemthing to do with Window's built-in picture viewer. |

Hm, setting Paint Shop Pro (I don't have Photoshop) as the primary viewer for that stuff didn't do anything. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! | Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | (I assume you're using Internet Explorer 6 and Windows XP. If you're using WinME or earlier, I suggest that you... don't.) A trip to the Microsoft Knowledge Base came up with this and this. The gist of it is: </font>

I came back from my Japanese class, and now the images are all saving properly. I did empty my Temporary Internet Files folder some hours ago (before reading Ace's post). Maybe that's what fixed it. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |
