Just all around, which is better in your opinion?

Slowking:

Water/Psychic

Abilities:

Oblivious:
Grants immunity to infatuation and Captivate.

Own Tempo:
Prevents confusion.

Base Stats:

HP: 95
Attack: 75
Defense: 80
Sp. Attack: 100
Sp. Defense: 110
Speed: 30

Slowbro:

Water/Psychic

Abilities:

Same type, same abilities, same attacks (far as I know). The only difference is the stats, which tip the scale to the higher evolution (big shocker).

No, they are both considered a Stage 1 Evolution, neither one succeeding the other in the chain. The player must choose between Evolving Slowpoke into Slowbro or Slowking, each having its distinct advantage in Defensive capabilities (otherwise its stats are identical). Even the difference in their Defense Stats are equal (80/110, reversed).

I prefer Slowbro because I think he is cooler and prefer Special Attack stats, generally.

I honestly vote for Slowking, except for the fact that you have to have someone with another game boy nearby and to find a king's rock in order to evolve him.

I honestly would have had no idea how I was supposed to do that to get slowking.

You can manipulate the system with PKMN Stadium 2, two games from G/S/C, and two Transfer Paks, I believe, via essentially Trading to yourself.
