Best Moveset for Smeargle?

I was thinking, Smeargle has the opportunity to learn any move as long as it can see it first. So I was thinking, and this moveset I think would be pretty strong, especially with Baton Pass/Agility to bring it out:

Move1: Spore
Move2: Lock-On
Move3: Sheer Cold
Move4: Mean Look

Spore has 100% accuracy, usually reserves only for Parasect, but its great for putting the enemy to sleep whiel you set up your move. Lock-On of course makes the next move you make 100% accurate and unable to miss, which is great for Sheer Cold, a OHKO with no pokemon that would be immune to it. Lastly, Mean Look would be a good 4th move, so that the trainer cannot just switch out their pokemon after your Lock-On.

^ I think that is probably the best he'll get. I'd also give him the Item Bright Powder though.

Not really the best for Wi-Fi, as most people ban OHKOes.

Otherwise its a decent strategy all together, but you would have to watch out for priority moves, or just all around incredibly speedy/ setup pokemon. Also, it could easily be countered with Sleep Talk.

Also, You would have to be sure that he would survive the switch in as well. You could predict your way through with some situations, but hardly always.

Avoid OHKO's, they're illegal in tournaments and basically anyone who plays competitively (or even non-competitively, like me) will call you out on it. If you're going for the spore/lock-on tactic, I would go with a move that sacrifices accuracy for power, like Dynamic Punch, Megahorn, Thunder, Fire Blast, Blizzard, etc. Out of those I'd go with Megahorn because I absolutely love that move.

You've also kinda got a one-trick pony there, so you might want to take out mean look and put in another one of those moves I described, to be more versatile.

Does said Smeargle have technician ability?

Even if not, I'd probably suggest that^ except with the minor change of instead replacing Mean look with a less powerful and yet more accurate move, in the case of an emergency where you're unable to take aim beforehand....

Anyway, I'll try and stop posting every other time, its starting to feel like I'm spamming...

^^Attacking moves are really next to useless on Smeargle. Smeargle should be used to set up.

Spore
Stat-Upping move
Substitute
Baton Pass

Or if you want to be tricky, you could use Trick and a Choice Item. *shrug*

^I was thinking that too, but I didn't want to crush the poor kid's strategy altogether.

there is no "best moveset" for smeargle his entire point is to be extremely versatile. if you can't get another pokemon to do what you want it to do, you use smeargle.
