Hacked or not?

If someone has a hacked pokemon and they breed that pokemon, do you think that the offspring are hacked, or not?

Just thought that was interesting. Found it while looking up something on Google.

What are your thoughts?

I'd say not hacked, moves and stats don't cross over into breeding, do they? A baby peokmon is still limited in what moves it can learn.

^I don't believe so, but what if its a mon you usually couldn't get without another game, like a specific starter, so you hacked to get it.

Would you then consider its offspring non-hacked?

Technically, anything involving illegal methods, even by proxy, is frowned upon. But It is so petty...So I say no, not hacked.

Meh, I used to send over starters as eggs when I started a new game sometimes, so I could hatch all 3 starters, I mean just hacking a pokemon just to breed it is sort of a round about way to do what the game wants you to do anyway, trade pokemon into the game. Besides by this point every pokemon is somehow available anyway, you can always trade or pal park anything.

So maybe the means is hacking if you get a pokemon into your game that you normally can't, but besides that, I'd still say the pokemon isn't hacked, there's really no benefit to it except you didn't buy or find someone with the game version that normally has it.

Well, if you gave the hacked pokemon perfect stats or something, then it's offspring could get some of the hacked stats too. It would also be possible to give the newly hatched pokemon combinations of egg moves that are normally impossible for them to learn together if they were hacked onto the adult.

Avoid those two problems and only the most petty of people will care, especially if you're just doing it because you've got nobody to trade with.
