Question Generation 5? What do you want to see?

If Pokemon does end up bringing out a Generation 5, what type combincations would you like to see? And what do you think the Pokemon would be based off of? I think it would be fun to see what combos people come up with . . .

Like for instance:

Ghost/Rock: A gravestone or tombstone pokemon. Maybe it could even evolve into a mausoleum Pokemon?

Thought it might be fun.

Less water pokemon. And less legendaries. Hmm, lemme see...

Ghost/Steel: a possessed suit of armor
Dark/Fighting: a ninja-esque Pokemon
Electric/Ice: a magic talking icebox

I'll come up with more eventually.

Dragon/Bug might be difficult, I mean they already have TWO dragonfly pokemon, and neither one of them ended up being Dragon/Bug, we got Bug/Flying and Dragon/Ground . . . so close yet so far.

Rock Dragon might be cool.

Honestly they need to make the next Legendary Trio to be all dragons, IMO.

Frankly, I'd be surprised to see anything worth my time.

^Unicorns (Okay, Rapidash has a horn, but Uni's are psychic (well they can teleport)
Zebra
Pegasus
Cerberus
Wolf
Goat
Falcon
Eagle
Woodpecker
Magpie
Jackdaw
Worm
Loin
Kingfisher
Badger
Kangaroo
Polar Bear
Squirrel

I believe we haven't any of these. And I'd give them Types. If I wasn't so tired. -_-'

Cerberus - Houndoom, ok it doesn't have three heads, but its a hell hound, close enough.
Wolf - Mightyena is half wolf/part hyena, but looks a lot more wolfish.
Falcon - Isn't Swellow based on a hawk? Or Pidgot?
Worm - We already have Weedle and Caterpie, do we need another wiggly? Maybe if it was done right, like a sandworm or something . . .
Badger - Linoone and Furret are have a lot of badger aspects in them, as well as ferret and raccoon. Personally I'd like to see a Tanuki, maybe a Psychic/Dark type!

Actually I think that might be cool, a Tanuki Pokemon that's either Psychic/Dark, or Dark/Psychic. The difference would be if Psychic is the main type it focuses on psychic moves and special moves, if Dark is the main type is focuses on dark and physical moves.

If Houndoom evolved into a Cerberus, but being just a normal hellhound isn't enough.

Always classed Mightyena, a Hyena and looks more like one rather than a Wolf-y.

Swellow is based on a Swift, and a Pidgot is based on Pidgeons (Hence the Pidg part of the names)

I meant more towards Sandworms. Then Weedle. Plus Caterpie = Caterpillar. Caterpillar not worm.

Still not a badger. They're ferrets or Polecats.

Okay my idea for Types for the list I did.
Unicorns (Psychic, I originally had an Idea for Unicorns to be the Trio each being Psychic/Dark/Fighting)
Zebra (Normal/Grass)
Pegasus (Flying/Fighting)
Cerberus (Fire/Ghost or Fire/Dark)
Wolf (Ice/Fighting, Fighting/Ground, Fighting/Dark.)
Goat (Dark/Grass)
Falcon (Flying, or Flying/Fighting)
Eagle (Again, Flying or Flying/Fighting)
Woodpecker (Grass/Flying, or Flying)
Magpie (Dark/Flying)
Jackdaw (Dark/Flying)
Worm (Ground/Bug)
Loin (Fighting/Grass, or Fire/Fighting)
Kingfisher (Water/Flying)
Badger (Grass/Ground)
Kangaroo (Normal/Fighting.)
Polar Bear (Ice or Ice/Fighting)

Okay, way to many Fighting and Flying types. But still.

I pictured a polar bear in a pink speedo singing "I'm too sexy"

Damn you VG Cats!

Actually, I know I was the only who brought up Mightyena, but an Ice/Dark wolf I could see is being pretty awesome.

Lupice?
Blizrir?

It could start with Howl and Ice Shard, then after it evolved you can retroactively teach it Moonlight as a hidden move.

What about an Ice/Normal type? It would be immune to ghost moves, but double weak to Fighting.

Or maybe an Ice/Rock type or an Ice/Ground type . . .

Thanks! I just made that up off the top of my head, but a Rock/Ghost would be nice, plus as a Ghost it loses its weakness to Fighting.

I also would like to see a Ghost/Fire type based on the lantern style Oni from Japanese myth.

Fire/Ghost: Blaznton. It would be a large, red flaming, translucent phantom. It woudl have an Ability to change to whatever Type it wants depending on the attacks it uses, as long as the attacks are elemental and would always keep its secondary Ghost Type.

Purty sweet.
