Gengar is my favorite ghost pokemon! He's just so cool and devious, but not being too creepy like most ghost pokemon nowadays. He was the original trickster!

Nice movesets. Gengar's special is higher then his physical, right? I actually forget.

I hate Pokemon you have to trade to evolve, because I don't have any friends.

Gengar is in my opinion the best Ghost Type in the game, he's classic, but in a good way, he was one of the still useful classic Pokemon. Plus he looks evil but awesome, later ghosts usually either a little silly looking (although still cool), or they seemed to try and make or act too sinister, carrying children to hell to something like that.

Gengar was a fun ghost, but was mean-spirited about it. But heck him and Haunter were pretty much mean jerks but had a lot of mischevious fun about them, at least I think so. Future ghost pokemon never seemed to have quite as much fun as the Gengar evolutions seemed to have being ghosts.

But he's part Poison.

Also, I hate trade only evolutions.

WHY MUST I BE FRIENDLY WITH 5 YEAR OLDS?

The Poison thing was annoying in the first game as Earthquake could easily decimate a Gengar, but they resolved that when they added the Levitate ability.

Yeah it makes him weak ot Psychic types, that sort of puts him on Par with Alakazam, since the two are supposed to have a rivalry (that Nintendo sort of let die over the years), since they are both weak to each other, but both very powerful.
