But then after this single game there was nothing, the card game fizzled, sure, but we never got another US sequal to this game. I wonder, why? The game wasn't unenjoyable, it had a lot of fun elements, was simple and easy to pick up and play, and even less Pokemon oriented games like the pinball series saw multiple sequals. As it turns out there WAS a sequal: ![]() It came out around when Pokemon Crystal was released, only it was only released in Japan and never made it to an international release. What happened? They even continue to make the card game, adding new cards and new rules all the time, and even after all this time, a US game and a Japan-only release they seemed to write off the P:TCG Gameboy series with no intention of ever reviving it. I wonder why, its not like a P:TCG DS would be that difficult to make a new game for, and there are so many cards available to use, a new challenge with the card gyms might be a lot of fun! Does anyone else miss the P:TCG gameboy game? Last edited by Dark Seraphim; 11-25-2009 at 11:06 AM. |

It disturbs me that they won't even translate and release the damn sequel on DSi Ware. And a new sequel with WiFi? It'd be awesome, and could cover all cards from Diamond & Pearl up. I'd buy it. On the subject of Pokémon games which require sequels; Pokémon Snap 2, Pokémon Stadium 3 will be much appreciated. |

I played it once, and I did alright. But you need alot of energy. __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |

That's pretty much where most of the in-game strategy is derived. Energy accumulation, distribution, and usage are among the most important things to master. |

I don't think the Pokemon TCG video games would have that much competition with the Magic video games since I didn't even know they existed until today. |
