Opinions of the PokéWalker?

HeartGold and SoulSilver have been out for about half a week now, so I'm sure most of us have gotten the chance to get accustomed to the new PokéWalker device. I suppose I'm curious what everything thinks of it so far, if they find it fun, annoying, useless, if they use it everyday, if they haven't even turned it on yet after opening their game, that sort of thing.

I never had one of the Pocket Pikachu 2 that came out around the same time as the original Gold and Silver, so this is really my first expirience with any sort of PokéWalker. I'm actually having a lot of fun with it, I've already unlocked up to the Suburban area, and traded over my Fateful Encounter Jirachi to open the new area. Its really cool to be able to get extra items early, not to mention free Pokémon that you normally wouldn't be able to get so early! I'm really enjoying it thus far!

First time I heard about it, I was like "lol what", but now it's making me think about actually buying this game. All this walking around I normally do now? Wasted, unless I get this piece of plastic.

Do you have to feed it, walk it, feed it, walk it and watch it die?

I like it. Because it might makes some gamers who didn't like that stuff like Wii Fit only focusing on exercise, well with the PokeWalker they can while actually benefitting their Pokemon goals.

Meh. I rarely use it, mostly because the Pokemon and items are almost always the same for the course, it can get a little boring. I like the idea though,'of walking to level up Pokemon.
