Its power doubles to 100 if the user attacks after the target Technician increases the base power of weaker moves, any move under 60 power by x1.5. Therefore Payback with 50 power would effectively have 75 power. However, if Payback is used second in the turn, it instead is treated as if it has 100 power, but its still listed as a 50 power move. Does that mean it still increases the base 50 by the 1.5 before the move doubles? WOuld that make 125 power? Or 150 power? 200 power? Or if its treated as 100 power if used second, would Technician not activate? Anyone know for sure? |
