And you can catch Mew in the wild with a PKMN Pak inserted at Pal Park, technically. But under normal conditions it is impossible.

I think the harder the Pokemon to capture, the better you feel when you finally do. Any legendary that you are able to catch not using a Master Ball gives me that feeling, especially the ones that always are running away.

But if I have to choose . . . the Pokemon that made me feel the best to capture has to be Tauros from the original Generation I Red and Blue. Not because I like Tauros, never bothered raising one, its because they were the single HARDEST Pokemon to catch in I think the entire game series! Their encounter rate was woefully low, and their catch rate seemed just as low! Mewtwo you could use a Master Ball on, with Tauros the only thing you could use were those ineffective Safari Balls. Chansey was right up there too.

Meh, I still think it counts... But if it doesn`t then how about MissingNo? I thought it was awesome when I did catch him, but I lost my Blue Version before I could use it...

The Gengar thing can go either way really. MissingNO. was just a glitch so it obviously doesn't count despite being badass.
