Sticky Hold: This Pokemon's item cannot be taken Dream World Ability: Unburden: Speed is doubled when held item is consumed. Shiny Accelgor looks like this: Evolutionary Line: -> Trade with Karrablast ![]() Locations: 5th Gen - Evolve Shelmet In-Game Strategy: Besides quite possibly having the strangest evolution in the game, Accelgor can be a fairly useful Pokemon in-game (although I have never used one myself). I'd probably use an Acid Spray set in game, since that Sp. Def drop is really nice. Set: Acid Spray Giga Drain Bug Buzz Focus Blast/Hidden Power (if you get a decent one) March's Movesets: Two of 'em Rain Abuser Nature: Timid EVs: 200 HP, 56 Def, 252 Spd Ability: Hydration Item: Leftovers Moves: Rest Acid Spray Giga Drain U-Turn/Bug Buzz Obvious you'd want to use this on a Rain team. Acid Spray is basically for lowering Sp. Def. U-Turn to scout if you want. Giga Drain for extra health. This set is kinda meh. Unburden Set Nature: Timid/Modest EVs: 4 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd Ability: Unburden Item: Bug Gem Moves: Bug Buzz Acid Spray Giga Drain HP Fire/Ice/Filler After using Bug Buzz and your Bug Gem activates, you can hit a max of 854 speed (798 if running Modest), which is absolutely ridiculous. Feel free to sweep to your heart's content after that. His design is sweet, he's a pure bug type, and his speed is off the hook. I really like using him as a lead with a Focus Sash. Spikes, Acid Spray, U-Turn, and Bug Buzz. Spikes it up off the bat, and if they try to OHKO you, you'll hang on. Acid Spray to lower their Sp. Def, and when they knock you off, switch to a Special Sweeper. This could do you one of two things: You could predict their switch and switch into a pokemon like Cloyster that takes some set-up time, or take them out with your special sweeper. (If you can't acid spray, like if it's a steel type or something, U-Turn, Spikes again, or Bug Buzz to get some STAB damage in before you bite it.) Accelgor sets up some cool stuff. |

I hardly saw it on VGC teams this year though. |
