Let's start off with our rival! He's a jerk, so, of course, the only jerk I can think of!

LET US BEGIN

Our story begins in the small town of Pallet. Town? Not with how few buildings there are here. I mean, where's Oak's house? Surely he lives here. Elm and Birch had homes. Oh well, let's just get this over with before I get into the size of RPG towns which EVERYONE does at one point.

It is time to choose the Pokemon. Do we want the neglected due to easy-mode power of Bulbasaur, the hardass with a strange tail Squirtle, or the commonly-taken because it encourages finding new Pokemon Charmander?

Actually, Bulbasaur might just be the worst to work with as a starter for this battle, since you just have Growl and Tackle. Charmander, on the other hand, has stupid Scratch.

I'm pretty sure you get a guaranteed crit in this battle, so whatev.

First task: Delivery boy for the parcel. Wait, what is this exactly? A custom Poke Ball? It was the same in the original games, where there was just the Poke, Great, Ultra, Safari, and Master Ball. Hmm...
