Fact of the matter is, this forum isn't for some delirious ramblings of an insane halfwit; its for serious debate concerning actual points. give me a good, coherent reason as to why I should give up my beliefs other than "they're crazy" or some copout like that. please explain to me why there is no posibility for what I have presented to be true. enlighten me oh wise a**hole lurch.

Let's take Star Wars, then. You say that actually happened. I take it we're forgeting the various physical impossibilities in the plot, such as the fact that travelling at, or past the speed of light is not possible? Or destroying a planet with a beam of light? Or controlling things with some omnipresent 'Force'?

You say that stories with a set timeline once happened. Ok. My webcomic has a set timeline. It deals with epic historical scale. Does that mean it actually happened? That I created it from some collective memory? I should, of course, mention that it involves Shyguys in trench warfare situations, insane demoic cultists and the physical incarnations of Death as played by Laurel and Hardy. Slightly less likely, perhaps?

Now, I'm an atheist. Apologies to others here, but to my mind all religions are works of fiction bound together by some admittedly-enchating and usually positive philosophy. But this just takes the cake. The fact that you try to justify it by referencing anime says it all for me. I try to be tolerant about everyone's beliefs, whether I personally believe them or not, but I do have to draw the line somewhere.
