Congress isn't doing anything. Democrats don't get stuff done, Republicans make stuff worse. It's no wonder 49% of Americans are strongly considering voting for a third party candidate. -CSM |

Only down 5 points from a year ago, and 12 points from June 2001. From June 2001 to now, the highest its gotten is 30% (Highest alltime is about 40%, both times when they were seriously talking about impeaching...first with Nixon, then with Reagan). That being said, they deserve it for backing down like cowards on the war bill. |

What did he do... lets see, showed up in Kosovo, Bosnia, and Rwanda too late. Cut military funding to shreds gutting its morale and capability, pulled us out of Somalia for a cowardly reason bringing upon more destruction to us by showing we'll cut and run still although the majority of that foreign viewpoint is not his fault. He DID manage to almost get peace between Palestine and Israel, but those broke down although that wasn't his fault. He was president during probably our greatest point of economic prosperity, however, as anyone who's studied economics would know, its takes a long time for a policy to affect the economy in a big way, unless its a VERY drastic change, of course there are a precious few exceptions, so it was actually Reagen's and Bush's policies which brought about the economic prosperity, but Clinton did manage to keep it going. Also I'd like to add that the economy had been started to rise at the end of the first Bush's administrations term. Some welfare and health reforms, most of which were for the worst in my point of view, but good or bad depending on your viewpoint. Education... to me that was his strong point, but still nothing drastically important. Crime rates dropped during his administration, blah blah blah, his policies in no way effected that and was based on local and state policies much more than national, its always been that way. Environmentalism... eh, mixed blessing depending on your point of view. Oh, yeah, nearly forgot to give him credit for probably the only real thing he accomplished that was actually amazing, NAFTA. His destruction of the military was absolutely horrible and military morale was at nearly at an all time low during his time. The lowest being from the Vietnam War to Reagen when he and Bush started rebuilding the military till Clinton brought it down. Course, I'm biased on the military part. I'd also like to point out that I'm disgusted with the Republican party members right now as well. They make me almost as sick as the democrats do. I've been trying to find Congressional Approval ratings for the past but, DAMN those are hard to find. |

The good people won't run because of all the caving in to lobbyists for campaign funds and free stuff (that's where politicians make most of their money from: not taxpayers, but lobbyists). -CSM |
