this guy's been around for a while now and he makes me sick. he's anti-pagan, anti-abortion, anti-gay rights, anti-islam, denies the existance of the holocost (sort of), he thinks D&D is the work of the devil, and is an all around F***ing ASS****!!! and not only that but he's a creationist too, he thinks the earth is only 6000 years old and that "evolution is a tool to brainwash people" it's sad really.

seriously, this guy is a jerk and if you don't believe me then take a look a his website "tracts" which he tries to pass off as christian values. but don't you believe this ass****'s propaganda. here, I'll link to one of his that's complete BS. his creationist tract should do the trick.

I found the 'Dark Dungeons' one to be the most amusing. Some other good ones are 'Sin City,' 'Big Daddy,' 'Fairy Tales,' and 'The Tycoon.'

'Flight 144' is the most hypocrytical piece of bull**** I've ever seen.

Oh, and when does he deny the existence of the holocaust? From what I've seen, he claims the holocaust was a jesuit/catholic conspiracy.

You believe that the Bible is a historical document word-for-word except that it just happens to leave out that God is an evil bastard and all Christians are basically participating in Baal worship, you can't say anything about this particular fanatic.

Yes, Chick is a Looney Tune with a few screws loose, but he's just a very orthodox Protestant. His heart's in the right place, he just has a lot (a lot) of really screwy ideas and can't draw to save his soul. He's not a bigot in that he doesn't believe that followers of other religions are evil; he just thinks they're misguided and that the lies they're being fed are sending them to Hell, which is what a lot of more orthodox Christian sects teach.

I've read all of his tracts, and I pity the man for his worldview, but vitriol is uncalled for.

well what about his view that "shriners and freemasons are in fact devil worshipers" okay, that's why I'm pissed off at this guy because my grandfather who recently pased away just several weeks ago was a freemason and a methodist preacher. how do you think I feel about some guy saying that my Grandfather, who was the kindest man I've ever known, is going to go to hell just because he was a freemason! how would you guys feel if some orthodox christian were to come up to you and say that someone you loved and cared for was going to go to hell for no good reason other than they belong to a club/fraternal order.

Uh, Inferno, my girlfriend is agnostic. Half her family is Buddhist. My mother's family from a ways back is Catholic. I don't believe in Hell, and don't think the divinity of Christ is integral to Christianity.

All of those people I just mentioned, myself included, are going to Hell according to Jack Chick.

I somehow manage to not get pissed at him for his beliefs.

but that's you Wyborn, I do get pissed when people attack my family or seem to attack my family. my family is all I have because I was adopted, if something were to happen to them I'd be alone in the world because I don't know who gave birth to me, my parents can't remember who they adopted me from. as soon as I was born I was given away to my current family because my birth mom couldn't take care of me. oh plus my parents are divorced, they seperated when I was 3.

but hey, that's just f***in' swell that you can take the BS that Jack Chick says but I can't because everyone on my mom's side of the family is Methodist and everyone on my dad's side of the family is baptist and I'm the only pagan among them! it's f***in' stressful for me and I haven't even told them yet. and to hear that BS about the Freemasons knowing full well that my dead grandfather was a Freemason, I'm pissed off at this guy.

You might not like Chick's beliefs and you're free to disagree with them, but that doesn't mean that you can level so much venom at him. I don't care for the man either, I think he takes his beliefs too far and too literally, but that doesn't justify me having any kind of personal vendetta against him.

They're his beliefs. He's allowed to have them, you aren't required to listen to them. Leave him alone.

You have to learn to take the punches or you'll never grow. It's okay to get mad at somebody for the like of what you said with your grandfather, but you have to learn when and where to vent. Sometimes you just have to take it when people make fun of you. ****, if I go out in public in my uniform sometimes I have people who come up and call me a baby killer, give me the evil eye, poke and hit me, spit on me(this one only happened once), stomp on my feet, call me all sorts of names that I refuse to say; yes these people who do these things still exist, but they are very, VERY few and far between. You know what, I can't do one damn thing about it because if I even said anything to them it would look bad on the Army's part and I don't want to sink down to their level when I don't have to. yes, he is intitled to his beliefs, but forcing his beliefs on others by trying to scare people into his religion with these comics and don't forget that one where god denies a Rabbi entrance to heaven for not accepting Jesus as the messiah, then it is wrong.
he is a biggot, and to call the holocost a catholic inquisition is a horrendous and despicible thing to say. the Nazis were responsible for the holocost and this guy is basicly saying that the holocost was a hoax on the part of the catholics who tricked captive Jews. take a look at these two wybon.

but this guy really is a biggot for:
1. denying that the nazis were responsible for the holocost.
2. condeming the Jews for not accepting Jesus as the massiah.
3. hateful and highly inaccurate depictions of pagans.
4. condeming muslims for their beliefs.
5. using children in his comics to try and scare people into his religion.
6. using comics to try and brainwash children on his form of christianity.
7. relentlessly attacking Catholics for no good reason other than "the don't worship like I do".
8. attacking Freemasons and Shriners because he thinks "they secretly worship a demon"
9. he attacks D&D without knowing anything about how real players and DMs interact.
10. he believes that D&D players are all devil worshipers.
11. he thinks that all science is BS and attacks proven scientific facts with his creationist nonsense.
12. his hateful portrayal of Gays and Lesbians.

I could go on but I'll stop there because that's a good list of his offences. really the guy is misguided in his knowledge about many things and because of it he portrays things in a hateful way being (un)/intentionally hateful with his comics.

I was on the wildwood boardwalk and some guy gave me a copy of 'This Was Your Life,' Chick's first tract. I was probably like 10 at the time, and it was years before I would know who Chick was.
