I won't be voting for McStain...er...McCain. He's as much of a flip-flopper as John Kerry was.

Bush is a flip-flopper? Bush NEVER changes his mind. He sometimes changes his cover story, but that's not the same thing.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Those two had potential and they used it. Rather than get into dicey political smack talk, I'll just ask this honest question:

Is there really any way to tell if any of these candidates will actually do anything if elected, or if they'll just settle in and do nothing while things continue to fall apart as-is?

In the past there were people who did things, people who had strong platforms and great character. These people do not seem to be getting through anymore. The best I can say of Clinton is that he didn't make things worse in a major way. The Republican presidents surrounding him are fine until you hit Bush jr, which makes me wish Bush Sr. had run instead. (One less term, more experience, etc. etc.)

Mostly I wish candidates would do more than throw around lies to get elected and actually go out and do things to prove they aren't a bunch of smooth-talkers.
Which is the main reason I've fallen behind Obama, everyone says "omg inexperience, omg youth" but when you look at it, that's kinda what we want.

You can see the qualities of what he wants to do simply in the way these campaigns have went:

While McCain and Clinton are steadily attacking him, he's brushing it off, defending his case, then continues talking about ISSUES, not the other candidates. What has McCain done to warrant me giving him my vote? Middle class has continued to shrink and as far as my family is concerned, we're not up on that end that will scoot into upper class.

The economy has hit a recession due to a lack of leadership or care for it. Bush hasn't done anything that I can think of in the past 6 years to even attempt to help the economy, no child left behind hasn't really even worked, not to mention caused a huge decline in health and physical education and well being in the youth. I want someone who will care about our foreign affairs, but at the same time work to help us out at home. McCain keeps attacking Obama because he hasn't been to Iraq in over a year, why?

I don't trust McCain because he can't trust himself, I don't trust Hillary because she's gone mad in the past month and said some things I did not need to hear her say.

All the while, Obama has been quietly stating his beliefs, his platforms, and fending off every negative thing the media is trying to throw at him.

Speaking of which, why is the second preacher even a big deal?
