I'm not trying to change anyone's minds, I'm just trying to inform christians about how cruel and evil their god truely is and how flawed their holy text is. and like I said if you don't believe me then look up the passages that are shown and stated in this video for yourselves. believe what you will but I'm providing people with the truth, if they want it then it's here.

It goes back to what I've said many times before, the Bible has been continuously mistranslated and misinterpreted for centuries upon centuries. If you want to know the REAL history on the Bible and on Jesus/God check out the lyrics to "Nature of the Threat", the man did is research and I've gone and started doing mine from there.

The Old Testament was written a long time ago, and in different languages. We know there's been a very arcane process to bring the English versions you read today into process, lots of stuff could easily be mistranslated:

1. Oral Tradition (More applies to the Pentateuch than anything, as these stories are the oldest)
2. Written Stories in a bunch of languages
3. St. Jerome translates into the Vulgate
4. Christian monks spend countless hours copying works.
5. Translation into english by either misinformed British scribes (KJV) or by more modern scholars (NAB).

That's 4 places (In some cases 5) in which there could be a no or not slipped in by accident.

I know what you're thinking: "But Linkman, it's supposed to be all correct, and divinely inspired!" And that it is. But, stop interpreting it literally, and look a bit deeper.

The Bible was written by various as a couple of things: A general repository for belief of Hebrews/Christians, a history book (In the case of the history books of the Old Testament), and a collection of Hebrew and Christian laws. The most important of these three to Christians is the former, the repository for beliefs of themselves. This is the part that's divinely inspired. Essentially, here's the process:

God inspires words -> Human thinks about inspiration -> Human writes words

Notice that 2 of 3 of those steps are uniquely human. Think about the idea of free will, that God has no control over what we do. How, then, could he have completely and utterly intended every word of the Bible to be the way it was when it was written by humans?

It is arguable, though, that due to our means of birth and our place in the world and life, including influences we are exposed to, that free will is not free at all. On top of that, you have a completely omnipotent deity that has supposedly created us and given us the ability to choose. Because this god is all-knowing and all-powerful, it is contrary to the power of this god to suggest that it could not perceive the outcome of its actions. To suggest that an omnipotent god could even be limited by the progression of time is ludicrous.

If you consider god to be all-powerful, you must consider that god in the same instance is equal to all things and energies in existence - that for them to exist and for god to be omnipotent, god must actually comprise all things. It is ludicrous to suggest that god has a specific will, because by definition god is every will of everything in existence.

There is nothing more than everything.

You know you really make me laugh. For one, if you don't really know jack squat about the Bible or believe it, then who are you to tell us how much we have to believe?

First and foremost, I could sit here for twenty minutes and tell you all I know, and tell you why I believe it. I could sit here and bring forward all the research I've done and I can sit here and disprove your points. But I'm not, I'm just going to keep it simple.

Old Testament and New Testament have been misinterpreted through the years, point 1.

Point 2, remember that the New Testament is mainly a collection of letters written to churches and accounts of the times written by various people.

Fundamentalists tend to be pretty idiotic. If God "killed everything he didn't agree with" then according to them America shouldn't even be STANDING right now. Not to mention whole Greek societies were simply gay communities, hell December 25th was a day where the men f***ed each other and beat their wives.

I can point to many examples in history where "crusaders" merely used God's name as a tool to justify a means to commit violence/oppress a people. Research the Moors who controlled the area of Spain and all that for 700 years, and see why Euros invaded them.

Small question: Did this Goddess tell you God's real name? Because it isn't Jehovah or any other name posed in the bible; he supposedly only shared his name with a few of his more well-known leaders in both old and new testament times. I'm just curious to see if our supposed Goddess knows the true name of God, because she sure as hell knows a lot about being a dungeon master.
