If we can't stabilize the banking system, expand it to match the size of the economy, and allow banks to start lending to one another again, this could potentially turn into a massive nationwide banking failure. Then we'd really be up the creek sans paddle. |

It's gone down 32 percent in the last 52 weeks. All our debt is currently overseas. The economy gets a big thumbs down. |
