B) Usually when people make lame jokes, even politicians, even campaigners, the proper response is to groan briefly, then ignore it.
C) I really do lose faith in the P-D sometimes. Especially since they dropped Opus.

This reminds me of the calendar I have that has a whole bunch of Bush quotes that are incedibly wrong.

For instance, one of them was, "Border relations between Canada and Mexico have never been better."
