What grade would you give George W. Bush?

I personally give him a c-.
Their were no more terrorrist attacks on American soil during his time in office, and there were no scandals, save for the one that THEY tried to create when THEY got desperate to make bush's aproval rating drop even more (When the dog bit the reporter, you know what I'm talkin' bout').but He did make quite a few mistakes as well,soo...discuss.

The two unforgivable mistakes that can be blamed on Bush:

1. Killing our foreign relations.
2. Slow response to Hurriane Katrina.

^You forgot the economy and the lack of willingness to start spending money on rail transit instead of new highways (which are more expensive). Plus the society of fear he and his cronies imposed on us.

I'd probably give him a D-. -CSM

No scandals? Leadup to Iraq. The Plame incident. US Attorney firings for political reasons. Advocating Torture. Not getting into minor quabbles, (energy policy, no-bid contracts, wiretapping, etc) those specifics are pretty damn huge.

D-. One of the worst modern day presidents.

Arguably worse than Reagan/Bush and Coolidge. I'd say he did easily as much bad as good, and the US after his presidency is now worse off.

It's too bad Gore won the real election, and not the pretend one instead.

Well, he's not a bad president...

He's a horrible president.

He's made some pretty bad decisions. I don't even have to explain, cause everyone knows what they are.

I'd give him a B-.

The bad: He disbanded many beneficial programs after Clinton left, like the anti-terrorism team and the campaign against youth violence. He pushed a war through Congress that had been voted against every year since 1997 by using scare tactics. He ignored the corruption problems and scandals that plagued his presidency. He did not handle the economy well at all.

The good: He ran a good campaign in 2000 based on many of the tenets of the Libertarian party, such as limited government and an end to nation-building. He tried to be honest even when other people in his cabinet did not. He may not have made the best decisions, but he was sincere.
