This is a stupid idea/question, but I was watching TV and some old guy gave his life savings to aid the American Soldiers in Iraq. Now, he made a significant difference, and he was just one average guy. Got me thinkin', so many famous people act like they wanna help and give far less, and they're rich. Tobey Maguire made like 100 million for Spider-Man 3... If these people gave their money to one government/independant redistribution project, wouldn't a lot of financial burdens and suffering end? |

Healthcare, housing, transportation, food, daily necessities and everything else people need, along with clothing, grooming and jobhelp. Everyone deserves a chance, and to live. |

Money only retains its value if you don't have any. I hope that makes sense to you. |

Gender: Posts: 9,544 Thanks: 175 Thanked 150 Times in 120 Posts | On the topic of distributing money, I've heard it said that if you took the money from the newest stimuless bill, and split it evenly among everyone 18 years or older in the US each person would get 50,000 dollers. Ganted I admit to knowing nothing about economics but wouldn't THAT stimulate the market because people would suddenly have alot of money to spend on whatever they wish, causing investers to once again invest in the buisnesses of the US and therefor stableizes things? - You stupid dog! |

| Fairy-Slaying Maniac Join Date: Apr 2000 Location: 1592 Miles Away From Here Gender: Posts: 18,062 Thanks: 148 Thanked 683 Times in 482 Posts | The issue is that Communism just gives all the money to what the government wants it to go to. Unless I'm missing something, no government has simply tried to give everyone an equal chance. Indeed, the issue at hand lies that Democracy was originally an insult to mean 'Mob rule', which, guess what, it does translate to. The only political system beyond these foibles would be an Isonomy, a sort of system that would allow people equal say in subcommunities. Indeed, these communities were present in both the US, France, and even Russia during their revolutions. It was what overruled and quashed these which became the Democracy, Dictatorship (short-lived), and Bolshevik Communism that superseded them. Sadly, people can't think long enough to implement this idea, and it is taught in so few places it has no hope to be known. Humanity is doomed to their inefficient, worthless governments in part because it is made up of fallable people who live too little to make a difference about structures set up by similarly fallable people during troubled times. But not to worry... being human is a temporary state. ![]() |

The idea I propose is large scale charity, being used as a "stimulus for the people" kind of thing. I also think like PK, but too much money being dumped into our hands would result in disaster, or at least as a waste. Ideas involving large sums of money need structure. |

People are often very cold. I won't cram definitions down your throat, we all know what the word means, but we might not be completely familiar with the synonyms. I knew it had some positive connotations at least. "Kindliness, consideration, humanity, benignity, sympathy." Sounds pretty good to me. Plus I'd like some cash. =| |
