Dear Catastrophe White House

Stop threatening Iran and North Korea. You know as well as I that they aren't going to use nukes, even if they acquire them. Why is that? Need I explain? If either of them use nukes, you have enough nukes to flatten both of the nations - 15 times! If they're smart enough to develop nukes, they're smart enough to know that.

The only reason they want nuclear technology is because they're scared of you - and they have every right to be, especially after your pointless crusade in Iraq. You might think you're the "good guy" and that you're just "protecting your citizens," but to most of the world, you're just a bully.

So please stop pissing off Iran and North Korea. You're just exacerbating the whole situation.

Sincerely,
Bomby von Bombsville

We need to confront Ahmadinejad and Kim-Jong Il directly. If we just isolate them they will just hate us even more. If we go to war with either of them World War III will break out. We need to send someone to meet with them unconditionally and tell them to their faces what they need to do to save not only their enemies, but their own people as well. North Korea is the single biggest violator of human rights of any government in the world (it's essentially feudalism in North Korea), and Ahmadinejad is the most prominent neo-Nazi in the world (although to be fair, he doesn't have the last word in Iran; the Ayatollahs have the last word there, and I think part of him is just trying to lick their butts). -CSM

Americans should have something to be afraid of, IMO. Then they can put themselves in the rest of the world's shoes.

I'm pretty sure that in the case of North Korea, they want to be isolated. Yes, their human rights record sucks, but it's the responsibility of the people of North Korea to overthrow their own government, assuming that's even what they actually want. If there's an uprising and the revolutionary side needs help, that's a different case, but it appears at this time, there's no major revolutionary movement.

As for Ahmandinejad, he's a joke. He can talk all he wants, but as you said yourself, it's the Ayatollahs who have the power. He's a barking dog with no bite.

Reminds me of that episode of Superman where he beats Darkseid to the verge of death and then his little minions carry him off because, on that planet, Darkseid is regarded as a god.

Well, if the scientists were also the generals, that would be true.

America is already afraid of so many invisible enemies that we could never take real ones seriously.

They're be 3 feet shorter than you and one of them is missing their left arm, so who cares? I'm sure if they try something it'll never have any bad effect on you ever. Not even a nuisance.

Even as they hurl rocks which come dangerously close to you and try to incite other, more violent people to hit you... nah. They're not important. Confronting them is wrong. Just turn your back on them. I'm sure it will make them stop doing these things. After all, all people know when to give up and most certainly won't become more desperate for your attention when ignored.

Sincerely,

I guess I should've stated that there's a line between "confronting" and "threatening." It's not that the government should be ignoring NK and Iran altogether, but they're going about it wrong.

Canada's govt is an unholy mess right now, and is ruled by conservatives at the moment, so that'd be counterproductive for you.

Then why is the media using Ahmadinejad as a scapegoat and not the Ayatollahs? Also, as for North Korea, the government uproots and moves people at their own pleasure, so any effective rebellion is extremely difficult. -CSM

That's media for you. They could tell us that The Supreme Leader (Ali Khamenei) is actually sane and has issued a fatwa calling nukes immoral (true, could be lying. But that would be the biggest scandal ever), but they aren't going to. The story wouldn't be as interesting if they stopped pretending Ahmadinejad was the leader. >_>

Why would it matter if North Korea got one nuclear warhead? The American arsenal alone would make the surface of the Earth uninhabitable. No one wins there.

^The difference: Our commanders-in-chief since 1994 can be best described as "horny", "dim", & "Obama", respectively. North Korea's commander-in-chief since 1994 can be best described as "looney-toons." Guess which is more likely to fire a nuke without provocation?

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
