Gender: Posts: 10,791 Thanks: 1,019 Thanked 686 Times in 467 Posts | Several evil CEOs of health insurance companies If there's any reason to support at least some form of a public plan, this is it: Health insurers refuse to limit rescission of coverage - Los Angeles Times Basically what this means is, and they're very proud that they do this, is that health insurance CEOs will drop people from their coverage when they're really sick, causing victims of illnesses to no longer be able to afford coverage, and which might be fatal. This is, to me, tantamount to manslaughter at least. (and this is in addition to the fact that health insurance is so ridiculously expensive and even those with health insurance run up medical debts). Meanwhile, "pro-life" Newt Gingrich things this practice is the right thing to do. This makes me sick. -CSM |

These people are probably worth a few hundred million, so I say fine them about 50 million and give them 5 years in jail. If someone dies, make the fine 100 million and the jail time 7.5-15 years.
