Why did NY have to vote down gay marriage (the senate voted it down today)? What's interesting is a lot of the corrupt Democrats sided with the Republicans to vote it down (three of the "Fair Hike Four" (senators who don't seem to care about transit riders) voted it down, including the infamous rapist senator from Jackson Heights). -CSM |

Just saying, you know, being that convicts are barred from voting and all I'd assume that extends to being members of the senate. |

Not that it's entirely better, but...yeah. Anyway, Jon Stewart did send that up - yay for protecting traditional relationships...even if you happen to assault your significant other. Also, Metal Mario, I want to thank you for your insightful and clever contribution. ![]() |

If anything trivializes the institution of marriage, it's reality shows based around it. -CSM |

There shouldn't be privileged tax brackets for that kind of thing, this isn't the fricking 1800s anymore. Single people can afford less than married couples. As a legality concerning tax purposes, we should abolish it and drop taxes a lesser amount for all persons rather than those who are privileged enough to have married. |
