I'm sure it'd be funny if I could stomach Beck enough to watch any of his crap.

He did one; but Glenn Beck keeps getting more and more clusterfarted that Jon Stewart had to do it again (did you hear Beck's recent comments about how social justice is un-Christian and Marxist? (Communist governments and Marxist governments practice everything we social justice advocates are against!)) -CSM

AI, I don't know if you watched it through, but even as someone who doesn't watch Beck, it gets going later in a way that is absolutely hilarious; I was rolling on the ground, practically.

And inb4 anyone freaks out, Stewart is only disparaging Beck - not conservative libertarians. I mean, you are all smart enough to figure that out, but just saying so we can avoid a firestorm of trolling, k?

I don't hate Glenn Beck, I hate the concept of Glenn Beck. The idea that he has a TV show that people watch, and then sincerely believe. And not just a few people, a lot of people. Thousands. It's terrifying.

^^ FOX News is currently the most-watched news network in the country.

Which is a little disturbing, given that the network has... what, one actual news program, and the rest of the day filled up with commentary? And even that one news show is a bit ehhh.

Ever notice how newspapers only have one -- sometimes two for larger papers -- page of opinions?

Exactly. I have a lot of conservative/libertarian colleagues, but none of them are anything like Glenn Beck. -CSM

It's the commentary that earns them their viewers. They'd be just another news network if they were objective, but they can draw a much bigger audience by being a mecca for Republican propaganda.

Yeah, the rest of them are fighting over the same pie, basically. Fox didn't give a **** about the pie, and said HAY NOBODY WANTS THAT BAG OF PORK RINDS and dug in.
