First of all, just because you join a nonbinding international association of cities doesn't mean you're an advocate of one world government. Secondly, I though teabaggers were all about giving more power back to the local municipalities. I guess that's not true when said municipalities are majority liberal. Thirdly, I read Dan Maes (the candidate in question)'s web page and he seems to be all about spending tax dollars on roads, which is essentially imposing a "conspiracy to force Americans to drive" (note: I don't believe that this is a conspiracy; I'm just trying to look at it objectively through his eyes). And although I'm a liberal, I know *plenty* of conservatives who would support bike sharing, especially since it increases "freedom of choice," something both liberals AND libertarians support, but it seems that a small number of very loud radical conservatives oppose it if the choice isn't one of the ones they'd make. -CSM |

What better way to take away people's freedom and control the world than by encouraging the use of a cheap, efficient means of travel that is much more difficult to track than a car? Besides, everyone knows the UN only pretends to be powerless. They're really hard at work toppling every government in the world in amazingly indirect ways so that they can create the People's Republic of Ban Ki-Moon. |

B-Cycle is pretty damn awesome by the way. |
