Not looking forward to voting tomorrow.

I don't think I've ever been this unexcited in a long time. Nevertheless, I shall vote, because otherwise I'll just be contributing to the mess America will become if the Republicans win Congress and start to shut the government down and then blame it on Obama. -CSM

(PS: I hope my vote COUNTS this time. I have a voter ID so they better not screw with me).

None of the candidates have wowed me this year.

Nevertheless, I sent my ballot in a couple weeks ago.

I know I'll probably have a Republican governor next year, but I sent in an absentee ballot anyway.

It's funny--despite all of the anger and disappointment that is being expressed (or at least portrayed by the media) of how slowly recovery is moving, I still feel the Democratic party has the right ideas.

I actually do quite admire our Democratic incumbent for Senator here in Wisconsin. Russ Feingold is one badass mother****er. So I was quite excited to vote for him, actually.

I consider myself a Socialist, but I can't ****ing stand most other Socialists because of how much they fundamentally lack any sense of practicality whatsoever. They all keep talking about "the revolution" and keep saying that "the revolution" will happen any day now. Bull****. Any revolution would be squashed so quickly that it wouldn't even be noticed. The only way America could possibly become Socialist would be if the majority of Americans embraced Socialism, and when that happens Socialists will be democratically elected into office and there won't need to be a revolution.

Honestly, I'm not even really a Socialist so much as a progressivist. I support a mixed economy, because clearly pure Socialism just won't work.

That's why I voted last week - I already had who I wanted down. "No" on Colorado Judges Blair and Gilmore, and no on the obvious tea-party/joke amendments.

Revolution is for idealogues. Us pragmatists (who are bound not by ideology, but have a sincere desire to see positive change happen) identify with reform. -CSM

Revolution in a society with democratically elected officials is illogical. At least the "violent revolution" type of revolution.
