I think of the universe as being an organism. All the components of the universe are like the organs and other such things, like an animal's body. This, to me, explains why everything in the universe runs so smoothly, because it's all connected to some type of neuro-center. However, the actions are not being controlled actively by this being, but are rather autonomous; all decisions are made based on rational means and not intellectual judgement. Are there any religions even remotely similar to this? Would it even be considered a religion? |

I don't really think the entire universe is "running smoothly" or that there's a centre of the universe. Based on what I know, it's quite chaotic (at long enough time spans), and there's no evidence there's a guiding hand which extends to the mindblastingly far depths of the universe. |

It's pretty pro at falling the f apart, though. I would consider this to be more of a philosophical concept, although really they do end up being the same thing when you examine them closely. Would you rather it be a religion than a philosophy? |

It's basically the same thing Einstein believed in, and he didn't consider himself to be religious. So, like AI said, I'm not sure if this falls under religion or philosophy. |
