As an Aspie, this pisses me off.

The guy is serious and this isn't tongue-in-cheek:

That dude better be careful. Don't want to end up being betrayed to Xerxes.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it if I were you. This isn't some influential up-and-comer whose political star is on the rise---it's a 91-year-old state representative who a) has admitted to not knowing what he's doing and b) is being denounced by just about everybody.

I can see what he means we can't make the population much bigger with the recourses today, but i don't think that putting a limit to how many kids you can have and/or getting rid of the more fortunate (Someone dad/mother was feeling generous on the chromosomes one night) is not the best solution.

As a person, this pisses me off, man.
Boo's right, though; this is a senile old man who no one is taking seriously at all.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

You know who else liked eugenics?

Hitler. So put that in your pipe and smoke it, CSM.

As soon as I saw the d in dementia my brain automatically plugged in "diabetes".

That's right.

Wilford Brimley wants to kill the mentally retarded of the world.

IT MAKES SO. MUCH. SENSE.

^Well, yeah. After Cocoon, he'll never get sick & he won't ever die, so what does he care about the rest of us?

The main problem with this is that this guy is a freshman legislator; he was somehow competent enough to actually get elected for the first time last fall. -CSM

^^How is that a problem? Again, this guy isn't bringing about sweeping changes---article says he basically sits there like a lump of dough and votes randomly on things he doesn't understand. This isn't the rise of the next Hitler---this is 'Mr. Magoo Visits the State Legislature'. To be honest, I wouldn't mind if there weren't a few more confused old grandads wandering around Wisconsin's capitol in place of Scott Walker's sleazebag friends---then maybe the current crooked budget sh*tstorm would have been averted entirely.

This dude obviously has some form of mental illness (dementia, most likely). I'm not excusing his behavior but I pity him. When my grandpa got sick with a brain tumor, he said and did things that were totally uncharacteristic of him.

This is part of why if you have Aspergers or any form of Autism Spectrum, you treat it like your deepest darkest secret. >.>; because of wackos like this dip and the other crazies who take them seriously.

It doesn't matter if he was elected recently. Really, he won't be running for anything else, and will be lucky to finish his term unless he is an immortal wizard or a vampire.

I dunno, some vampires manage to last quite a while in office and aren't insane.
