Maryland Republicans are admitting that they just want to oppress women.

GOP not doing a good job of hiding agenda on Head Start program

Seriously, when will people vote these chumps out? -CSM

I would comment, but the article is so poorly written I don't really understand what the hell it's trying to say. There's no real supporting evidence or statements for the argument (not that I truly understand what argument is being made, but...whatever).

^Head Start is a program that provides assistance to children whose parents, especially single mothers, can't afford to take care of them due to them having to work. A bunch of Maryland Republicans think that the program is bad because they say that women belong in the kitchen taking care of their children and their husbands should be the sole breadwinners. That's basically the gist of it. -CSM

Yeah, but there is no support for that argument. 2 Republicans =/= a bunch. They only cite 2 individuals who feel that way. Does that make those individuals dicks? Hell yes. But it doesn't cite anyone else, and doesn't speak with other Republicans about their reasoning. That's bad, horribly skewed journalism.

The article's own arguments pretty much just explain why the bill won't pass: If not because the stats don't support it, then because the other MD GOP legislators wouldn't be caught dead voting for a proposal made under such insane pretexts.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
