I wouldn't notice it at all. Why would I be looking at a Spider about to eat a butterfly? Waste of my time.

If I saw a Harrison Ford bein hassled by a bear, I'd refrain from interfering. Sometimes the Harrison Ford gets eaten, if it's dumb or sickly or something---usually it gets away, owing to its advanced tool use, highly-ordered brain, camouflage-like skin coloration, and potent anal scent glands. That's just natural selection, motherhubbard.

I've found an incredibly relevant nature documentary that encapsulates the idea. Watch and learn.

Clearly the only proper course of action is to save the butterfly and then teach the spider to eat condemned convicts.
The butterfly gets to live and the spider's terrible bloodlust is repurposed for the betterment of society. As a bonus, the rate of violent crimes drops tremendously because the penalty is now "Death by Spider" if found guilty.

why would i care is the question, must we as a speices always get involved into every single thing ever? what gives us the right to get involved in the matters of predator and prey, the purest, and most beautiful of natures creations?
