Who pays for what police?

Scott Walker, the governor of Wisconsin, wants liberal protestors to pay for the extra cops who look for excuses to shut the protest down:

Meanwhile, Republicans are perfectly okay with taxpayer money being spent on police to have a round-the-clock security presence at Fox News:

Scott Walker is s ************ing ******* ********ter with a ********ing idiotic hairdo.

I'm sorry, what were we talking about again?

But seriously, considering how poorly the police treated protesters and unlawfully arrested journalists, some of them don't deserve a single dime of pay.

^For whatever reason, police commissioners like Joe Arpaio down there and Ray Kelly up here seem to want to protect the well connected over the most of us.

(though to be fair, Ray Kelly seems like a humanitarian compared to Joe Arpaio, and Ray Kelly is no friend of human rights) -CSM

I hardly think the protestors requested the police presence.

I guess they can just not pay them. In that case, they would just have to go home or do overtime for no pay.
