Komen for the Cure: Unborn babies are more important than poor women

I'm sure you've heard the news by now. This witch hunt against Planned Parenthood - an organization to which 97% of its funds, including all of its government funds, go to causes that no one would object to - is really pissing me off. I don't care what your thoughts on abortions are; to throw poor women under the bus just because the same organization provides emergency abortions in very rare instances is just wrong, especially when their work saves the lives of women. -CSM

They hate birth control too. I always wondered how someone that hates abortion could also hate birth control.

^ YES. YES. YES. EXACTLY.

That has always been my MAJOR gripe with the so called "pro-life" movement, especially the single issue voters who vote Republican for no reason other than being anti-abortion. Many of them probably would care a decent amount about good public health care if they truly looked at the issues in a balanced manner, but ultimately choose the life of an unborn child over the life of those who are already born and breathing.

Also, I'm militantly pro-stem cell research. Well... not really "militantly" but you get the picture.
