| Bathtub scene in Eternal Darkness. That scared the living **** out of me and gave me a mini panic attack. That game really screws with your head... __________________ Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users? -Clifford Stoll | |

All that crazy crap happening, Eileen's Robbie the Rabbit doll looking through the peephole and pointing at you, the decapitated head looking through your window... It scared me. |

Regular games are scary enough. Stop laughing. I'm serious, I was scared stiff for the entirty of the Metroid Prime series. I mean, screaming-out-loud-in-horror scared. On an interesting side note, I've been having nightmares about RE4. A game I have yet to play. O_o; |

| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | I remember, as a child, being unusually scared of several things on the NES. Most memorable were the Hawkmouth in SMB3 and ambushes on Operation: Wolf (mainly the alarm sound). |

| Super Bodyguard & King of the Arcade | That alarm noise on Metal Gear (NES) when you're spotted. Not only did that scare the living crap out of me when I was little, but I sucked at that game to boot. |

The first time I got into a fight in Sweet Home startled me. My characters suddenly froze in their places, and it started playing this creepy "Bum...bum...bum..bum..bum bum bum bum bumbumbumbumbubububum" as it faded to black. I thought I stepped on a wrong spot, and Mamiya was coming to rip my heart out or something. The fact I as treated to the following didn't ease me any: ![]() ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! [ March 18, 2005, 10:02 PM: Message edited by: CodieKitty ] | |

The game that's managed to mess with me most was Clive Barker's Undying. You walk into a green room, and see some thing eating the body of a person you were talking to moments earlier, broken glass everywhere. Another one of them comes crawling down the wall in front of you, seconds later. You use the scrying power in a perfectly normal room to see the most disturbing blood splatters and demented paintings, and you start to hear some girl's voice. Yeah, ****ed up game. I played it with stereoscopic 3D shutter glasses, so it was too damn real. ![]() |
